Home – about me

Hello! My name is Ariana Yamasaki and I am a recent graduate of Cabrini University with a degree in digital communication and social media. Throughout my years at Cabrini I was very involved within the communication department and have jumped at every opportunity that has come my way.

I was the Lifestyles editor for our student-run newspaper The Loquitur. I was a part of the student-run radio station, WYBF 89.1, as a co-host. Most of the pieces I have produced are telling stories about the injustices that happen in the world through multimedia pieces and writings.

I have created a multimedia website that discusses the topic of education equity in the United States. During my senior year, I was the President of Cabrini’s chapter of Catholic Relief Services (CRS). My passion for social justice has grown throughout my four years here. Many of the projects I have created have had a social justice message in them. Check out two articles that I wrote that I am super proud of, click the screenshots below.
